Start with understanding where you are now.
Your Initial Assessment is a 60-minute one-to-one session designed to understand what's going on, what you want to get back to doing, and what may be limiting you. From there, we'll map out the most appropriate way forward.
Choose a time
Call or text Mathew on 0400 735 810 to book your Initial Assessment, or send an enquiry and we'll arrange a time.
What happens during your assessment?
We talk first
We'll go through your health and injury history, previous training and exercise experience, what's currently getting in the way, and what you'd like to be able to do.
We assess what matters
Your physical assessment will be individual to you. Depending on what we need to understand, we may look at things such as mobility, strength, movement, balance, fitness or other measures of physical capacity.
We start solving the problem
Where appropriate and time allows, we'll begin working on something straight away — whether that's an exercise, mobility strategy or another practical step you can take with you.
We map out what comes next
We'll bring everything together and explain what we've found, what we think needs attention, and what the next stage of your training or Exercise Physiology could look like.

You don't need to prepare for the assessment.
Wear comfortable clothing you can move in. If you have any relevant medical information, scans, reports or referral documents, bring those with you.
Most importantly, come prepared to tell me what you want your body to be able to do.
Not sure whether you should book?
You don't need to figure that out yourself.
Tell me a little about what's going on and I'll let you know whether an Initial Assessment is the right place to start.
